About

I am a geotechnical engineer working at the intersection of offshore foundation design, soil dynamics and data-driven modelling. My current work at Honghai Bay Laboratory focuses on anchoring systems for floating offshore renewable energy — plate anchors, suction piles and embedded anchors under static and cyclic loading — including the design software used to predict their capacity and installation behaviour.

Before moving to China I spent five years as a faculty member at Islamic Azad University, Najafabad Branch, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Southern University of Science and Technology in Shenzhen. My doctoral research at the University of Tehran examined how inherent and stress-induced anisotropy govern the dynamic properties of sand–gravel mixtures.

A second strand of my work is sustainable ground improvement: using steel slag, recycled polymers, geosynthetics and nanomaterials to improve weak soils while diverting industrial waste from disposal.
